Sermon from April 19th, 2026
Abraham needed to find a proper wife for Isaac to allow Him to bring Israel to the blessings God intended. He chose Eliezar, his most trusted steward, to bring a proper wife from his God fearing people to allow Isaac to be the blessing God intended. With such a critical call, his steward prayed specifically for the proper woman to come. Before he could even finish, God answered and brought Rebekah to the well. God will answer faithful prayers in His time for His glory.
Sermon from April 12th, 2026
After celebrating Resurrection Sunday last week, the need for unity under the Christ who purchased the church with His own blood becomes clear. We must humbly serve the God who became man and humbled Himself showing us how to live as His servants. We love Him because He first loved us and look forward to serving Him for all eternity.
Sermon from April 5th, 2026
When Jesus Christ said "It is finished" on the cross, He paid the death penalty for all sins from Adam until the last person in the Millennial Kingdom. The blood shed was the way of salvation for all as He was crucified from the foundation of the world as God is not limited by time. By His death, burial and resurrection, if we come to His cross and repent, we are made sons and daughters of the Most High God and joint-heirs of His only Begotten Son! Praise God!
Sermon from March 29th, 2026
Hebrews 6:4-6 are some of the most controversial verses in the Bible. Some use these verses to say one can lose their salvation if they fall away despite verse saying once saved, always saved. Others say that if one is in church but not saved, if they leave they are beyond salvation. Others say that if saved and fall away, God's chastisement will strong and possibly eternal, as at the Bema Seat, your works may be judged by fire, suffering loss, but still saved.
Sermon from March 22nd, 2026
As one is saved, God provides the foundation with Jesus Christ as Chief Cornerstone with eternal life granted us. Hebrews 6 says we are to move beyond this and build upon that foundation for the glory of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. The foundation of Christ allows us to trust fully in Him and have full confidence in Him. Please ensure you do not rest on a foundation, but to build on it to spread His word and draw sinners to the comfort of the spiritual house built upon His foundation. Nobody lives on a foundation, but the house built upon that foundation!
Sermon from March 15th, 2026
As we have a new Asst Pastor, it pays to go over the requirements of being a pastor. As we serve Christ with Christ as head on a foundation of Christ, it pays to look at the word in which Jesus is called in John 1:1. The characteristics are given in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and are comprehensive and full. No man should ever consider himself worthy on his own, but should seek the grace of God to empower him to a life of service. It is a high calling, but the call is not to have an important place, but for the opportunity to serve Christ for who and what He is and to lead others to do the same.
